What, and go back to making multiplle sequels in 2D? Are you out of your mind? Or before that, to the time there was some originality in Hollywood?

Good point.
Are Johnny H and myself the only mawfawkas up in here with ridiculous, time and money consuming hobbies? J, how much on average do you spend on old yet still active WWII landmines? |

I'm already fed up with this 3-D fad that's running rampant through Hollywood, as if the talkies weren't bad enough now they'll have you sitting in theatres with Kool Moe Dee specs watching the new Woody Allen in the third dimension. The shit gives me a headache, hopefully this trend won't make it to next summer and we can return to the old proven ways.

Not at all Johnny, I didn't take it as you picking on me at all!
You make some valid points but also I believe you are biased, which is understandable given it's a very emotive subject. Victims of war and injustice come from all backgrounds. Many people are pretty sceptical about the people in power and how they may misuse their influence, for them wikileaks is a way to increase the accountability of all - whether that is war crimes, sources pointing to ill equipped troops or politicians taking bribes. The mainstream media has shown time and again it is not up to the task and I think wikileaks plays a vital role, although as you point out it also has it's drawbacks. |
