I haven't really followed him since after his 2nd cd.  Is his new material worth listening to, or has he fallen off just like Snoop?

I met Fabulous at his club in Orlando back in the day. He was a cool dude but I have to agree he fell off. Not as hard as Snoop, but he fell off pretty bad. His style was only fresh for an album or 2, and production had to carry him after that,

His latest album... the one that has that song "Throw it in the Bag" is pretty decent... I'd give it 3.5 / 5 stars...

That "Throw it in the bag" track has a catchy hook, but the lyrics is pointless... I'm tired of hearing muthafuckas in the rap game just talkin about they money and they bling and all that bull shit! I mean for real though go get ya money, but don't kill hip hop doin it, is how I feel! I guess that's why I don't listen to the radio no more and mostly stay with the underground and the oldschool shit...

Getting money has always been one of hip-hop's main topics, it's not so much what you say but how you say it.

The underground is rapping about getting money, jewlery etc too. The only difference is that their jewlery is fake and they got their McDonalds salary in cash so that they can hold it while among other people. Some of the underground talk about how gangsta they are too, but they don't explain why that is. Just that they're gangsta and got their bling on.

Oh and alot talk about smoking weed, too. Smoking alot of weed is good.

I allways found it funny that the ghetto rappers talk about how rich they are and the rich rappers talk about how ghetto they are :/

Yeah man that's because you need to be both rich and ghetto to be a rapper, but thats a contradiction in itself. If you're rich you'll move out the ghetto and if you're ghetto that means you didn't have enough money to move away from it. So if you're really rich you need to talk about being ghetto and if you're ghetto you need to talk about being rich.

Funny thing is that struggle is also a part of the hiphop culture so some rappers will talk about life being a struggle on one song and about their bling on the next track.
