(AllHipHop News) In the 1990′s Master P’s New Orleans-based No Limit Records was one of the biggest record labels in rap. Boasting a host of talent, including the charismatic Mystikal, Master P and No Limit went on to sell hundreds of millions of albums worldwide.
But, unbeknownst to many Hip-Hop fans outside of Louisiana, Mystikal was once signed to the local favorite, Big Boy Records, who often went by the moniker “The Boot Camp Clicc.”
Although the label dissolved in the mid-90′s amidst the $30 million dollar Cash Money Deal and Snoop signing to No Limit, this Sunday (May 10), Big Boy Records will reunite with Mystikal as the headliner.
The Boot Camp Clicc reunion will also include performances by Partners-N-Crime, the Ghetto Twiinz, Black Menace, Precise, Insane and Lil Lipps. Also scheduled to appear will be DJ Spin and DJ Jubilee with tributes to deceased artists Tim Smooth, Sporty T, G-Slimm and Rated X.
Established by Charles “Big Boy” Temple and producer Leroy “Precise” Edwards, Big Boy Records would go on to release some of New Orleans’ most favored records including, Partners-N-Crime’s “Pump Tha Party”, Fiend’s “I Won’t Be Denied”, and Mystikal’s “Y’All Ain’t Ready Yet.”
The Boot Camp Clicc Reunion start as 8 p.m. at the Howlin’ Wolf (907 S. Peters St.). Tickets are $20 for general admission and $50 for V.I.P.
Also, from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, promoters will host a dinner and performers’ meet-and-greet for ticket holders at LeRoux Supper Club (1700 Louisiana Ave).

In a monologue, the also explained the risks of unprotected sex. A week ago, Cee was busted by undercover police for soliciting a male prostitute on a corner in Brooklyn. Cee has not agreed with this account of the situation, stating that the purported prostitute was a female.
The video is below.
“What’s going on everybody, it’s Mister Cee representing Hot 97. As all of you know, I’ve been through a lot this week with my situation and my addiction. I can honestly say I have an addiction and that’s something I’m going to have to deal with as I move forward in my life. But to all of you out there, I know there’s a lot of y’all that got y’all situations that y’all go through sexually. Whether it’s fellas messing with two or three women at a time or even some of you women. Women are just as much as cheaters as men out there. I mean, let’s just be honest, man. Everybody is not living a righteous lifestyle out there. Even myself. What I wanted to do today is to talk about the importance of safe sex, talk about the importance of using a condom, just talking about the importance of being healthy in your life as far as taking an HIV test. Now when I say taking an HIV test, the first thing people think about is that, ‘I don’t want anybody to know my business.’ Well, I got a little situation for you. You can go to AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Now at AHF, your business is your business, as it should be,” Cee added. “Private and confidential. There are professionals to help you with your situation. AHF has all new facilities throughout Brooklyn all the way to Amsterdam. Matter of fact, there’s a facility right on Atlantic Ave right in Brooklyn.”

(AllHipHop News) Adult Swim has announced a new line up of shows that will begin hitting the network as early as the summer of 2013. One of those shows is a cartoon starring none other than famed boxer Mike Tyson.
Dubbed as the Mike Tyson Mysteries, the carton will be a humorous view of Mike Tyson as a detective armed with a face tattoo that has magical powers.
In the Warner Bros Animation quarter-hour series Mike will solve mysteries with the help of his trusty talking pigeon side-kick.
“Adult Swim has emerged as a leading entertainment network in key sales demos and should be part of every advertiser’s consideration set during the Upfront,” said Donna Speciale, president of Turner Entertainment and Young Adults Ad Sales. “The network has a distinct relationship with its loyal and engaged audience and targeted reach across television, events, digital and promotions, all of which advertisers have the opportunity to benefit through a wide variety of creative activations.”
While a talking pigeon side-kick sounds unusual, fans of the boxer will remember that Tyson had a six-part docudrama called Taking on Tyson on Animal Planet back in 2011
Other shows set to hit the network as part of the new programming include, Aqua TV Show Show, Black Dynamite, The Boondocks, Children’s Hospital, NTSF:SD:SUV::, Robot Chicken, Squidbillies and The Venture Bros.

(AllHipHop News) Chris Brown’s father’s prediction of a “tragic” end to his son’s relationship with Rihanna is somewhat manifesting.
According to the Chicago Sun Times, an unnamed source close to the Barbadian bombshell Rihanna informed them that she was insulted by Brown saying he was not ready to be “wife-ing” someone as young as Rihanna on an Australian radio show:
“She really thought that was a sexist, degrading thing for him to say. Especially after all Rihanna endured after he beat her and all that.”
Rihanna reportedly called Brown and “really blasted him, using language that made it sound like she never will get back with him again — no matter what people think,” according to the unnamed source.
A day after Brown’s interview went public Rihanna, seemingly alluding to Brown, sent a suggestive tweet:
Settling is not an option! Nothing less than 100% loyalty, honesty, and respect!! Love ain’t for kidz #butimsleeptho
— Rihanna (@rihanna) May 7, 2013
Less than six hours after the Chicago Sun Times article posted this morning (May 10th) Brown sent a cryptic tweet, possibly referencing Rihanna’s dating life:
She’s not mine if she’s everybody else’s.

(AllHipHop News) Being one of the youngest rappers in the game is proving to be an issue for the Brockton, Massachusetts fourth-grade rapper known as Lil’ Poopy.
According to reports, the Department of Children and Families (DCF) has opened a new case on the miniature sized rapper, born Luis Rivera Jr, now 10 years old.
Despite closing a two month long investigation in April, the DCF has opened a new case after Poopy’s videographer and producer, Brian Slay, was pulled over by Brockton police and the car smelled like marijuana
According to police, the young rapper and his videographer were approached by Brockton Police after they pulled into a McDonald’s after midnight earlier this week.
Although the police did not find any marijuana, the routine traffic stop has now turned into an investigation into the young rapper’s family after Lil Poopy was in the car with Slay.
When they saw ‘Lil Poopy’ in the car, it escalated from a routine stop to harassment,” said Joseph Krowski, Lil Poopy’s attorney. “Why this warrants an investigation is just as perplexing as the last time.”
Lil’ Poopy’s rise to fame began after a series of controversial videos caused Brockton police to investigate Poopy’s family for abuse and neglect in February of this year.
Proclaiming to be a “Coke Boy,” the French Montana prepubescent protegé raised eyebrows earlier this year when he was seen slapping women’s backsides in a night club setting, rapping, “coke ain’t a bad word.”
More news as details emerge.
